Left over rotis !! No problem… Make delicious and healthy ladoos out of it. Roti churma ladoo needs only few ingredients like ground roti, jaggery, almonds and ghee. These roti ladoos can be quickly prepared in no time.

Roti churma ladoo is a sweet little balls made with left over roti (Indian flatbread), almonds and jaggery.

Ingredients

  • 6 left over rotis

  • 2 heaped Tbsp of almonds

  • 1/4 cup of soft jaggery 

  • 2 Tbsp of Ghee/clarified butter

  • 2 cardamom, powdered

Directions

  • Grind almond into a coarse powder, then add rotis into the food processor and again grind into powder( like bread crumbs).
  • In a heated pan, add ghee and add jaggery and let it melt. 
  • Now add roti mixture and mix well. Roast it for 5 minutes.
  • Switch off the heat and add cardamom and mix well.
  • Let it cool down a bit, then start making ladoos.
  • Make ladoos while it is still warm, else it will be difficult. Add little milk if needed. Roti churma ladoo is done.

Notes

  • Store roti churma ladoo in a a air tight container. Will be good for 2 days in room temperature.
